The Hindu College Debating Society is pleased to announce the 8th Premchand Memorial Parliamentary Debate. We’re back and we’re bigger than ever before!

For the eighth edition we’ll be playing host to at least forty teams from institutions all over the country and the broader South Asia region.

Microsoft India is the Title Sponsor for the event. Organized in association with Old Students’ Association of Hindu College, we are being graciously sponsored by the Inder Sharma Foundation and Coca Cola India. Mail Today is the media partner  for the event.

Over the past few years, the Premchand debate has established its name amongst the most prestigious debating tournaments that take place in India. It has distinguished itself by the consistently high quality of debating along with enthusiastic participation by teams from all over India and abroad. It was the first debate in Delhi University to go international and this year we only expect for this trend to continue.

Team Registration has now closed for Premchand 2011. If you were placed on the waitlist we will be giving you a call in case of any pull outs.
